If I close my eyes, I can still see the pyramids. The sandy dunes, the camels maybe, the Nile, its colour I loved so much, sunbeams reflecting upon it.
If I close my eyes, I can still see the girl I was in the Spring of my Life. So natural, so simple, so fresh, so young. So young.

If I close my eyes, I can still smell the perfume of my best friend, Miss Huysmans, flowers and pineapple. Maybe banana. I remember our hairs we used to knot together as if we were Siamese twins.

If I close my eyes, I can still see the Café de Flore, my joy , my pride to show what I had done.
If I close my eyes, I can see this smart German man who took my heart. His strong accent, his spectacles, his hair, his fan. I remember EVERYTHING from Him.
If I close my eyes, I can hear the music of Rachmaninoff and see ballerinas dancing slowly and gracefully to this sound. their arms stretched to the blue sky, their fingers moving gently. Their smile, their laugh, their eyes so bright.

If I close my eyes, I can see the gorgeous outfits I used to wear at night, all the sparkles, all the details. The world revolved around me.

During daytime, I was more a Bohemian, a smarter kind of Hippy. I had embroideries and flowers on my dresses. They were so light, so diaphanous. I loved Flowers. I still love them. They are in my DNA. I love the colours of Nature. I love strolling in cornfields. Mind & Body Free.

Sometimes, Nature was not enough. When I feel super self-confident, I put funny things on my garments. I wasn't afraid of anything. When I close my eyes, I can still see the glittering lightbulbs, the scissors I wore as a necklace, the little planes, the cartoon characters, the chairs... Fashion is made to be played with. Isn't it?

In the Summer of my Life, I decided to be even more free-spirited and carefree. I had pineapple or banana on my clothes, even horses did not scare me, my sunglasses were even bigger than my face. Life was so fun. Fashion could be interpreted in so many different ways! I wanted Fashion at any moment of my Life! Even when I was having a shower!

If I close my eyes , I can still see these glorious years, this smile upon my face. Colours and prints were everywhere. The bigger the prints were, the happier I was!

When I open my eyes, I see myself at 60. This is almost the Autumn of my Life and I am still a beautiful young Lady with a lot of nice memories but the best years are yet to come.
