INSTANTS OF LONDON [PART TWO]: THE SUBLIME IS NOW

Today was an incredible day!  We visited some really cool shops in the London area we love so much: East London! A part of London that has influenced us for creating this blog! A part of London where you can shop unique clothes for unique people. Places with a very particular atmosphere, places standing outside the box, apart from the big stores (we also love but where you feel like someone among the other "someones"), apart from averything we know or have experienced in France. First (and after some chaotic beginnings with the London Bus network...) we headed to Primitive London  a shop in Dalston on Shacklewell Lane where Lui greeted her in the best way and where we found some really cool stuff (soon in Looks of the Day) and especially Yann's new Raf Simons x Eastpack backpack! Then and as we were going back to Shoreditch for the following part of our shopping//visiting day, she told us that we should visit LN-CC, a concept store we have already mentioned on the blog and that we are crazy about!  But the problem is that you need an appointment to visit this shop. All the same, we decided to go and have a look inasmuch as it was in the same area. You can imagine that before our departure we had already made a list of all the things we had to do and all the stores we had to visit and LN-CC was not a part of our plan considering the luxury pieces sold here and the appointment thing. But we went and found it behind a discrete door in an alley that seems to come from Harry Potter. A street that only non-humans can see. Visiting the store was just an experience where Sublime is now (unfortunately, you won't find any pics here because we were not allowed to shoot! so be satisfied with the door and the bell) where you can find all the established luxury brands that make our hearts beat (Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten, Lanvin, Raf Simons Archives). It was insanely chic. Amazingly crazy! Even though we don't have the money to buy these pieces, here, too, we were greeted in the best manners as if we were some good customers (and we bought Grace Coddington's book in a way to keep a trace of our LN-CC experience!).
Another atmosphere different from these luxury shops was the Broadway Market, a very cool place full of fruit, vegetables, food and clothes. And that's where we bumped into Strut, in the very heart of Hackney, a shop where you can find vintage designer pieces at very affordable prices.

To sum it up, this day was a real journey! As unmissable as the exhibition Transformed Vision we visited at Tate Modern, as colourful as the graffitis on the walls of Shoreditch and as hot as the boys we saw walking in the streets! And as the artists featured in this exhibition were marked by WW2 that changed their vision for ever, London has really changed our vision, it has opened our eyes, that's really where we want to be, there's a sense of fulfillment we have never found anywhere else!
