A few weeks ago, when we went to the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris, watching Sky Ferreira live was one of our biggest expectations. Perhaps because she is a scandalous girl who is not afraid of coming too close to the sun and burning her wings. Perhaps because she is a new kind of It Girl, a model (she walked the latest Marc Jacobs show and is the new face of Maison Kitsuné), a muse and perfectly in this grunge revival initiated by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent Paris. And also perhaps for her music, not revolutionary but good enough, dirty enough, cool enough to be in our headphones in a loop for a month now. And Sky the Fallen Angel is back today with a new video for Night Time, My Time, the song that opened her set during Pitchfork. In this dark video, directed by Grant Singer & Michael Stine, she plays different kinds of creatures of the night and her voice losing itself in an long and powerful echo will still haunt us for several weeks.
Sky Ferreira's album also called Night Time, My Time is already out so don't waste any minute, listen to it!
