Can you believe that the big barnum of Fashion Weeks is about to start again in two days? New York, London, Milan and Paris are about to sparkle our lives during a month with clothes and collections that will make our minds pop. This is so exciting, so inspiring, we honestly cannot wait. Can you? Fashion Weeks are the best parts of the year when you are a fashion blogger because they give you material for articles, inspirational outfits and because you can "meet again" your favourite designers and models just like old pals. And then the usual question is coming: Will she walk for.... (add the designer of your choice)? Fashion is a tough world and models come and go in the blink of an eye. To quote Heidi Klum, the great spirit of Fashion, one day you're in and the next day you're out. Some models were big sensations for one or two seasons, then they disappeared in a dark and deep abyss where nobody could hear them scream... That's sad but that's life baby! On the other side, some other models are here to stay, quietly, silently, without making any fuss. That's the case of two of our favourite catwalkers: The Australian Julia Nobis & the American Amanda Murphy.

We all know these two, we all know their faces and yet, they are discreet, far from the noisy and show off models attending all the before and after parties. There is something timeless and low profile about their looks and at the same time something completely ambivalent about them. They have a strong personality but they are just like blank canvases where designers/photographs/stylists can inject their very own world. This is not a coincidence if so many fashion houses have decided to use them as their ambassadors. Exhaustively, we could quote Prada, Dior, Dsquared, Lanvin, Céline, Proenza Schouler, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Missoni, Public School, Ferragamo, Loewe or Sacai. Pretty impressive, isn't it? They both can be utterly sexy (but never vulgar) and completely enigmatic. Julia, the flamboyant Ice Queen and Amanda, the icy femme fatale. A lethal combination that make us dream of a new version of Charlie's Angels with only the two. Who needs a third girl when you already have these two supergirls? Perhaps Miuccia Prada (who has been one of the first to feature Amanda in her ad campaigns and who has chosen Julia for the new season) could play Charlie. Ok, we are raving but admit it, it could be so good!

Another reason why we have decided to talk about these two in the same article is that they are clever and Fashion is not an end per se for them. They both work in the medical world (Amanda as a part-time radiologist and Julia is studying to become an ER doctor) and this makes them even more exceptional and worth of interest. For us, they truly represent a new generation of models that use the fashion system and not the contrary. A new generation far from the the girls who with their silver spoon in the mouth (you won't get any names from us today!) think they can rule the world. Let's see who will be remembered by the fashion crowd in a few years...
